New faces and new leaders at Magee High School this year with no exception for Magee Band. The band is under the direction of new band directors Amanda and Brad Sumrall, husband and wife team.
Both are graduates of William Carey.
Band camp has began for the color guard, drum major, and drum line.
Full band will start Friday, July 21, 2017 at 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
The color guard has an instructor from Gulfport helping with routines this 
week.
Camp will go though next Friday.
A lot of hard work and dedication goes in to pulling off a great half time performance.
Magee takes PRIDE in their band program.
Parents of band students make sure they stay hydrated next week during the hot summer days of practice.
