Ballyhoo Clothing and Gifts reopened Friday, June 1st, @ 10 AM following a remodeling and change in ownership. Brittany Bishop and her husband Tommy are the new owners of Ballyhoo. Cinde Walker, who founded Ballyhoo, sold the successful business to Brittany and Tommy. Brittany opened “All Gussied Up,” which was located next to Jose’s in Magee, a year ago. The opportunity to purchase Ballyhoo was an answered prayer to both parties. Cinde was ready for a change! Brittany wanted to grow…and here we are six weeks later with a “gussied up” Ballyhoo.
MageeNews.com visited the new business Friday morning. I was absolutely blown away by the changes Brittany and Tommy have made. Brittany’s brother, Jeffery Sullivan, created Brittany’s dream store with modifications to the existing business. The white pine floors are the perfect balance for the building. The building is now a lovely shade of turquoise with black and white awnings. Brittany’s love of bling is present all over the store! Three beautiful chandeliers light the main room. Elizabeth Sullivan, Brittany’s sister-in-law, is owner of the children’s area…..which by the way is outstanding…darling darling clothes and gifts! Many of the name brands that Cinde Walker carried in the original Ballyhoo are still available.
Ballyhoo will be open Monday-Friday 10:00-5:30 and Saturday 10:00-4:00.
Congratulations to Brittany, Tommy, Jeffery, and Elizabeth—awesome job. As Brittany says…her girls have been “rock stars” in helping make the move!
(That sweet Brittany just cried when I interviewed her! She has a heart of gold and is so appreciative of all the support given to her during the transition.
