Balance is an important part of a full and happy life. Every day I want to find balance. I also strive to create that balance in my wardrobe. How do I do this? I achieve it with an organized closet. Having a closet that is organized means finding those go-to pieces that create the foundation of my wardrobe, mixing up different items, trendy and less expensive elements and keeping it easy to see everything I have and how it all fits together. This is a work in progress, it just makes my life easier. I recommend you keep on top of this process at least every 4 to 5 months. Having your closet organized can help you throw together an outfit at the last minute, finding something to wear no matter what the surprises are for the day and even go to the grocery store while still looking nice and not sloppy. If you have a busy schedule, that’s not always easy!
Now, you are probably thinking that balancing your closet sounds like a lot of work. Yes, it takes time, energy, and being brutally ones with yourself but it pay off in the end. When you open your closet and it’s overflowing with pieces that don’t fit, aren’t in style, or just not your favorites anymore then it makes it more difficult to find the pieces you do love or the clothing that makes you feel phenomenal. If your closet is organized the less effort you will have to put into it on a daily basis. This gives you more time in the morning for important things, like prayer, exercise, and eating breakfast with family.
Walking into your organized closet will make your choice of outfit for the day fun and special!
