206 votes were cast in Tuesday’s General Election.  156 votes were cast in Ward 1 with 14 absentees and 1 affidavit.

24 votes were cast in Ward 2.

7 votes were cast in Ward 3.

7 votes were cast in Ward 4.

 

Whitney Barnes Baker received 126 votes to Chris Lane’s 40 votes.   1 affidavit will be certified Wednesday morning at 10am.  The final election results will be certified following the one affidavit vote is decided.

Our city officials are:

Mayor Dale Berry

Alderman at Large  Angel McPhail Brister

Alderman Ward 1  Whitney Barnes Baker

Alderman Ward 2  Matthew Hickman

Alderman Ward 3  Lane Steele

Alderman Ward 4  Patrick Brown

 

Swearing-in ceremony of the elected officials will be announced.
