You just never know what and who you are going to run into when you sneak off for a lunch in Magee.
I was excited when Dot Nichols asked me to go with she and her grandson Connor to Dairy Queen for a quick lunch. (You know the child has to chose the place!)
First, we see a bunch of Dot’s former students…and they all love her…then we see former teachers, Rhonda Baldwin and Susan Walker.
I turned around and hear comes a bus load of kids and teachers. My poor brain was trying to figure out “what’s up with all these kids!” Dr. Bell, Magee Middle School Principal, informed me the group was making a Back to School video…they were visiting places all over town …and lunch stop was at DQ!
The kids and teachers were happy and excited about their days venture. Of course, I got the camera snapping and caught quite a few cute shots of the DQ happenings.
Hard to believe…but school begins in early August…didn’t we just get out about a week ago??? How time flies.
Be aware of children out and about…be aware of parents pushing to get teeth checked, haircuts, clothes purchased, supplies ready…the list goes on and on!
