Aubert Don Landrum, 84, of Mize, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born Sunday, April 19, 1936, in Mize, Mississippi.
A private Graveside Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 24, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Landrum’s Family Cemetery in Mize. Reverend Ron Medlock will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. (601) 785-6564
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, and brother. He worked with TL James and later bought his own truck and drove cross country. He enjoyed his family and grandbabies. He loved the outdoors of fishing and camping.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Steven and Maybell Johnson Landrum; one grandson Tyler Shoemaker.
Survivors include wife of 48 years, Virginia Ann Landrum of Mize; four children, James Donald Landrum and wife, Rebecca, of Mize, Jeffrey Daniel Landrum and wife, Shanna, of Mize, Cynthia Kay Ainsworth Lowery and husband, Joe, of Mize, and John Randall Ainsworth of Mize; eight grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Donald Landrum, Daniel Landrum, James Miller, Jordan Landrum, Larry Landrum, and Dewayne Livingston.
