Competition was held Thursday at Jones Junior College for district bragging rights in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) .
Several students from Simpson Academy participated in the event.
Ashton Moody, son of Kade and Jackie Moody, placed first. Ashton was judged in several areas: interview, test, resume’ and had to write a business letter. Ashton’s award is the highest award given at the competition. He along with other Simpson students, advance to State Competition, which is held in April.
