Arnold was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was lovingly known by many of his old friends as ‘Boochie’ and ‘Big A’ by the numerous coaches and students he was associated with.

Arnold’s sense of humor is legendary, and all those who knew him have their favorite stories about him. Aside from the time he spent with his family and friends, some of Arnold’s fondest memories came from the many years he spent helping young players excel in their chosen sports and being an assistant coach at Simpson Academy.

Arnold is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Gail (Dear) Hederman of Slidell, La; sons, Arnie Hederman of Jackson, MS; Thomas Hederman of Jackson, MS; Britt Hederman (Rebecca) of Slidell, LA; daughters; Wendy Peacock (Bill) of Herriman, UT; Wanda Whisenant (Jeff) of Madison, MS Brandi Hollingsworth (Chet) of Slidell, LA; sister, Eleanor Wettach of Madison, MS; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Arnold was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Edward Wettach.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, February, 11, at Tutor Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Webb Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow in Goodwater Cemetery in Magee, MS.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
