The storms that rolled through the area Thursday evening and into the early night time hours left many people in the dark.  Nothing confirmed at this time, but reports of a possible small tornado passed through the area tonight.  From D’Lo to Magee to Puckett to Raleigh, many reports are coming in of power lines crossing Hwy 18 causing traffic delays in that area.  Raleigh is also reporting trees and power outages in that area.  Hail has been reported in several areas of Simpson County.  Reports of power lines down on Hwy 541 out from Magee.  People traveling to Magee from Jackson reported trees down on Hwy 49 on their route.

John Henry Berry, Mayor of D’Lo, and many D’Lo residents were scrambling to find power to watch the big debut of Small Town, Big Mayor which aired tonight at 8:30pm on UP TV and again at 9:30pm.

Local flooding is possible in flood prone areas.  Drive with caution if you have to drive tonight.
