April Suzanne Bynum Ulmer, 43 of Mize, MS went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the Magee General Hospital in Magee, MS. She was born Saturday, November 8, 1980 in Magee, MS.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 1:30pm until 3:30pm at Maranatha Baptist Church, 5601 Hwy 35, Mt. Olive, Mississippi with a Funeral Service immediately following. Burial will follow in Maranatha Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Rudy Jackson and Bro. Danny Adams will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

April was a loving and caring person. She loved her church, and all church activities. She especially had a heart for church missions, caring for the children, working in the kitchen, and the pantry at the church. She had many talents when it came to crafting. She was loving wife, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. She will be deeply, and dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Easter Vearl Craft Bynum.

Survivors include her loving husband of 12 years, William J. Ulmer; father, Gene Kelly Bynum;  aunt, Brenda Bynum; uncle, James Bynum; cousin and second mama, Rose Hutchinson; cousin, Clay Bynum (Melissa); father-in-law, Melvin Ulmer; mother-in-law, Linda Ulmer; brother-in-law, Andrew Ulmer; sister-in-law, Melinda Taylor (Jerome); friend who was like a sister, Pam Wallace; and other family and friends

Pallbearers will be Paul Meadows, Benji Purser, Toby Bourne, Dwight Gentry, Scooter May, and Jimmy Shoemake.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Purser, Chris Hutchinson, and Jeremy Stuckey.

Special music will be performed by Carson Burch and Liz Meadows.
