Ann Grantham Gay, age 71, passed away peacefully Friday, September 6, 2019 in Jackson, MS. Ann was the youngest of nine children born to Ely and Catherine Graves Grantham. She was born in Simpson County and was a graduate of Mendenhall High School. She was the first woman insurance adjuster at AIG where she worked until her retirement.

Eddie and Ann Gay were married on December 30, 1988. Together they had two children, Brent and Kelley, who were the light of her life.

Ann lived life to the fullest spending time with family and friends. One of her favorite things was hosting family events and holidays. It was at these family events where many of our greatest memories were made. Ann was an incredible cook and planned her menus to perfection. She was always the last to eat because she couldn’t wait to hear what dish people enjoyed most. These are cherished memories that we will carry with us forever.
