Angela “Angie” Denise Knighten, 52 of Braxton, Mississippi went to her heavenly home on Sunday, January 14, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born Thursday, September 30, 1971, in Jackson, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Braxton, Mississippi, with a Funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Braxton City Cemetery in Braxton, Mississippi. Bro. Bradley Powell will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

Angie was a loving wife and a proud mother, loving her family fiercely. She loved all animals, but especially her horses and her fur babies. She was kind-hearted and free-spirited. She will be deeply missed by all those who loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bobbie Sue Hefner; and father-in-law, James Knighten.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Larry Edward Knighten; sons, Justin Gober and Larry Daniel Knighten; daughter, Danielle Knighten; step-son, Brandon Knighten (Bree); step-daughter, Brandy Harvey (Anthony); father, James Gober; mother, Judy McKay Gober; brother, Jim Gober (Tracy); sister, Charity Gober Welch (David); mother-in-law, Faye Knighten; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family.

Pallbearers will be Gabe Gober, Jacob Gober, Gabe McAlpin, Brandon Knighten, Doug Knighten, and Brier Burns.
