In our lifetime, we may not see or be aware of many true love stories. A love story I would like to share with you is Billie Joyce and Dempsey Sullivan.
“BJ” passed away Friday, August 27th in the arms of the man she loved…her husband Dempsey. “BJ” had suffered with heart problems as long as I have known her. She had looked death in the eyes several times.
Dempsey and “BJ” were married for 51 years! They were childhood sweethearts and inseparable.
“BJ” loved Dempsey. She loved her family. She loved her church. She loved her many many friends. “BJ” loved…
She will be laid to rest, Monday near her beloved church, Calvary Baptist.
I became friends with Billie Joyce when she worked at Polk’s Pharmacy. She took care of a lot of people during that time. Although we did not see one another very often, we would always start back where we had left off.
What a shinning example of love “BJ” and Dempsey were!
Thank you for showing us true love…
Please be in prayer for Dempsey. His heart is broken.
