Monday, February 27, 2023, I participated in a  sit down interview with Mayor Dale Berry.  Mayor Berry had  contacted me asking for an opportunity to answer public questions concerning the city.

Well, inquiring minds want to know…

The questions were sent to me by viewers.

Here are a couple of talking points.  The full interview is posted below for your enjoyment!

Mayor Berry began the interview with an explanation for the absences of Alderman Ward 2 Matthew Hickman.  Mr Hickman is under medical care.

At this time, nothing can be done concerning representation for Ward 2.

Elected officials cannot be fired.  A resignation can be accepted which would call for a new election.

Questions concerning the Community House, building permits, receipts from tournaments, attendance policy, city expenditures, City website, State Weather Awareness week, cannibas policy, halfway  house within the city, condition of city streets, raising taxes, clean up, dog catcher.

The interview is long (35 minutes) but worth the watch.

Enjoy!
