Analeigh Kilgore of Mount Olive served as a page for the Mississippi Senate. Pages generally run errands for officials and Senate staff. Analeigh is pictured with Lieutenant Governor C. Delbert Hosemann Jr., and Senator Juan Barnett, who sponsored her visit.
Analeigh is the daughter of Keah and Jessica Robinson and attends Harris Christian Home School. When asked about the week, Analeigh said, “I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to serve as a Junior Page for the Lieutenant Governor. This experience gave me memories to last a lifetime. While in session, I realized that these outstanding individuals are just regular people. I would encourage any junior or senior with the opportunity to take it. Learning how our state’s legislature works is important for more than just a history lesson. We need more young individuals willing to learn and prepare to be the next generation holding office in the years to come. I would like to thank the Lieutenant Governor and Senator Juan Barnett for this amazing opportunity.”
