Tuesday night at the November 7th Board of Alderman meeting the issue of smoking in a business was discussed. Under present city codes, Perfect Blend, a local coffee and cigar shop, was not allowed smoking in the business.
The Board voted 3 for and 2 abstaining to enact an amendment to the present code. Patrick Brown and Lane Steele abstained from voting. Whitney Baker, Angel Brister, and Matthew Hickman voted for the amendment.
Ordinance Number 280 amended Ordinance number 269. Below is a copy of the amendment.
