Amy Bridges, age 91, passed away on May 16, 2022.  She was born to Bunyon and Bertha (Gibbons) Patterson on May 12, 1931.

She was a homemaker for many years.  She loved her family and her nieces and nephews were just like her children. Whenever there was an event, Aunt Amy was there.

She is survived by her nieces, Sandra Craft (Carl), Tina Barnes (Kelly); nephew, Jeff Anderson and sister, Linda Haydel, great-niece Shelley Kemp (Zack); great-nephews, Brad Craft, Joseph Thompson, Jacob Thompson and Collins Barnes (Shobi) and a host of other family and friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Billy Joe Bridges; brothers, Allen (Moot) Patterson, Jim Patterson and sister, Mamie Anderson.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.  The service will be at 2:00 pm in Tutor Chapel with Bro. Joe Metts and Bro. David Sartin officiating. Interment will follow at Harrisville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Anderson, Kelly Barnes, Brad Craft, Carl Craft, Zack Kemp and Michael Larsen.

Patrice, wife of Greg Boykin & mother of two sons, Bradley & Alex, is a Magee hometown girl. Patrice is retiring after 25 years in the insurance industry and 23 of those years were with State Farm Insurance in Magee. She is very active in the community serving as Secretary for the Magee Touchdown Club and Vice President of the MS Scholars of Simpson County. Multiple times, Patrice was named Parent of the Year for Magee Schools as well as District Parent of the Year. Patrice & her family are members of New Hope Baptist Church.
