Dear Friends,
I have become a candidate for Justice Court Judge, Post 1, Simpson County. I have qualified to run in the August 2019 Republican Primary and I earnestly ask for your support.

Decisions are made in Justice Court that affect many people profoundly and, in many cases, permanently. These decisions should be made with great deliberation, without bias or prejudice, toward or against any party. We hear the term “independent judiciary” used a lot, usually when talking about the Supreme Court or sometimes Circuit Courts, but it is just as important for a Justice Court Judge to be independent.

These are my promises to you if you decide to entrust me with this very important office.
1. I will be an independent Judge owing favors or favoritism to no person or group.
2. I will make decisions based on the law and evidence.
3. I will be fair and respectful to all participants: Plaintiffs and defendants, witnesses, attorneys, Peace officers, employees of the court, observers and members of the media.
4. I will make myself known and available to ALL Law Enforcement Agencies in Simpson County, 24/7, to make sure they can carry out their duties in a timely manner.
5. I will work with our other Justice Court Judge to make sure that there is a Judge on call 24/7.
6. I will work to gain and keep your trust.
7. I will NOT accept any campaign contributions for this campaign.
