The Philip Allan family received a plaque during the Board of Alderman meeting Tuesday evening honoring and remembering the service their husband/father served for the City of Magee.
Jean, Jessica and Michael Allan accepted the plaque on behalf of Philip for the years of service. Philip lost his life tragically months earlier in the year.
Philip served on the fire department and was always lending a helping hand for whatever was needed for the city.
