The Scriptural passage for today is found in 2 Timothy 3:16-17: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” The BIBLE is the Christian’s guidebook for daily living and contains the infallible Word of God. The apostles believed this implicitly and knew it was most important to emphasize the Word’s rightful place in the lives of Jesus’ followers. As I often point out, its importance is the same today in the lives of Christians. The Word of God never changes, although man might try to do so. It must never be tampered with–not one jot or tittle, as is noted within its pages. Let’s revere our BIBLES, treasure and preserve them, and go about our daily routines by taking into account and sharing with others the love, joy, and kindness mentioned so often within its pages. Amen!
