Don’t put a lot of concern into what others think of you.

By James Davis
The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Acts 14:17: “He has shown kindness by giving you rain from Heaven and crops in their seasons; He provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.” The apostle knew that all good things come from the Lord, and we who call ourselves Christian need to be reminded often of the source of refreshing rain, of food to sustain us, and of joy to lift our hearts. There is no other source for those three essentials. Let us, especially at this time of the year, look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, and give Him thanks for what we do have, however great or small. The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God! Amen!
Happy Wednesday! Let’s look up with thankful hearts and lift holy hands in praise to God.
