Alisa Ann Gray Easterling, 59 of Braxton, Mississippi passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, February 13, 1963, in Magee, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel at 302 8th Avenue SW, Magee, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Braxton Cemetery in Braxton, Mississippi. Pastor Kevin Walker and Mr. Darryl Dukes II will officiate. Special music will be performed by Miss. Jamie Shows. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
Alisa was a member of Mendenhall Church of God in Mendenhall, Mississippi. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved making people laugh, playing the piano, singing, serving others, and taking care of her love, Ed. She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, John L Gray; mother, Levoin Puckett Gray; and sister, Connie Gray.
Survivors include her fiancé, Edward Ingram of Braxton, Mississippi; one son, Jonathan O’Neil Varnes of Collins, Mississippi; one grandson, Jon Varnes of Magee, Mississippi; great-granddaughter, Adalyne Varnes of Magee, MS; one brother, Johnnie Gray of Mount Olive, Mississippi; three sisters, Carolyn Gray Ornelas (Frank) of Byram, Mississippi, Deborah Gray Graney (Roger) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Phyllis Gray Brown (James) of Glendale, Arizona; and a host of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dwight Harkey, Peyton Snelson, Cody Nash, Sam Stewart, Timmy Varnes, and Jimi Brown. Honorary pallbearer will be Charles Ray Harkey.
Immediately following the graveside service (approximately 1:00 p.m.), the family would like to invite all family and friends to join them at D’Lo Water Park, Pavilion #2, 135 D’Lo Park Road, Mendenhall, Mississippi 39114, for a time of food and fellowship.
