Alicia Kay D’Avy passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at UMMC in Jackson, MS. She was born on August 4, 1966, to Henry M. Walley and Helen Louise Bryant.
She was a wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She had a heart of gold and was one of the most selfless and loving women you’d ever want to meet. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Alicia is survived by her husband, Charles D’Avy; sons, Thomas Welborn (Susan), Charles Carroll (Demetria); daughter, Ashley D’Avy (Zach Slawson); grandchildren, Tony Nash, Benjamin Nash, Stella D’Avy and Kaden Jordan.
She was preceded is death by her parents and her son, Jordan Ellis D’Avy and brother, Lewis Charles Walley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 14, at Tutor Funeral Home with Bro. Timmy Carlisle officiating. Interment will follow in Mendenhall City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Zach Slawson, Kenneth Wilson, Jeffrey Brown, Branden Franklin, Robert Walter and Joseph Snellgrove.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
