Abigail (Scout) Algee of Florence and Carley May of Magee were recently inducted into Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Hall of Fame at the Simpson County Center. The Hall of Fame is the highest honor that can be given to a Co-Lin student. Copiah-Lincoln President Dr. Ronnie Nettles made the announcement during the college’s annual Awards Day program.
Scout Algee serves as Trailblazer President, Student Government Association President, and Vice President of Leadership for the Beta Xi Psi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Bible Club. Scout was selected as Campus Favorite and a homecoming maid both her freshman and sophomore years. She was also selected to the PTK All-Mississippi Academic Team and Who’s Who at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She is the daughter of Jeff and Kristi Algee.
Carley May serves as President of the Beta Xi Psi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa and a Student Government Association Representative. She is a member of the Trailblazers and served as Homecoming Maid her freshman year. Carley was selected as Miss Co-Lin for the Simpson County Center, Who’s Who at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, PTK All-Mississippi Academic Team, and received a beauty in the 2016 Trillium Beauty Pageant. She is the daughter of James and Dayna May.
