Alex Boykin, a junior at Mississippi State University, has been chosen a Rho Chi for 2018. A Rho Chi works with all pledges who are considering Greek Life. As a member of the Interfraternity Council, Alex ,along with 19 others Greeks, will participate in orientations throughout the spring, summer and fall introducing the Greek Life to incoming students.
When asked why Alex was interested in participating in the Rho Chi program, he explained, “The opportunity to become involved with the school and the Greek system. I will be given the chance to make relationships that will last a lifetime.” “Often people hear the word fraternity and they think “Party!” “There is so much more to Greek life than a party, “ emphasized Alex.
Alex is a graduate of Copiah -Lincoln Community College Wesson Campus and Magee High School. He is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity (Pike) @ MSU. His major field of studies is Sports Studies. Alex referees high school soccer in and around the Starkville area.
The son of Patrice and Greg Boykin, Alex follows in his parents and well as his big brothers footsteps as a bulldog.
