Citizens in the Magee area of 1st Street NW need to be on the look out for a “peeping tom.” Two residents in the 700 block of 1st Street NW reported seeing a young white male with sandy blonde hair and blue or green eyes looking in bedroom windows. One of the residents said the guy just stood at her window and she could see him but was so scared she couldn’t move. The other resident reported the same situation…man looking in bedroom window. She withdrew her shot gun from under the bed and headed to her porch…after screaming a few words an ejecting a 12 gage shotgun shell…the guy was no where to be found.
Be aware of your surroundings and report any suspicious person to the police.
1st Street runs over the RR track by Rankin Body Shop and curves all the way to 11th Avenue (near the Entergy building)
