Simpson County Technical Center (SCTC) students in the Metal Fabrication, Diesel Service Technician, and Construction/Carpentry programs received a special visit from members of the Mississippi Air National Guard.
Sgts. Etheridge, Winstead, Clarke and Winterstein spoke with SCTC students about the Air National Guard and provided them with information about career and leadership opportunities, healthcare, and education benefits. The students were even excited to learn that if they choose to serve part time in the military, they are only required to serve for one weekend a month and two weeks a year with pretty decent hours.
