Magee General Hospital is pleased to welcome Ashley Floyd, WHNP, who will expand services offered through the MGH Specialty Clinic with a focus on women’s health.

Ashley Floyd, a familiar face in Simpson and Smith Counties, is a Mize High School graduate and longtime MGH team member. Her passion for women’s health began early in her nursing career, leading her to specialize in labor and delivery. In 2012, she completed her training as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.

Ashley has five years of labor and delivery experience at MGH, and has also served as a travel nurse and worked with the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. Since 2017, she has been with South Central Regional Medical Center and has served as a lactation counselor since 2018.

Starting this month, Ashley will see patients every Wednesday at the MGH Specialty Clinic. To schedule an appointment, call 601-649-5421 and request the Magee Clinic.

Ashley and her husband, Mark Floyd, live in the Mize/Magee area and are proud parents to Noah (16) and Levi (6).

Sue note:  My interview with Ashley was so interesting!  She brings a new depth to services for women in our area.  Ashley works with new mothers, young girls, and us “old” folks!  I hope you will take the time to listen to the interview!  She’s awesome!
