An Amber Alert was issued Wednesday afternoon. The 2 year old child has been found…the man who took the child is still on the run. I have not been able to get a lot of facts…I can tell you what I’ve heard but do not know if this is correct. The child was with his mother in the Braxton area when the parents (who are estranged) got into an argument. Chris Hubbard attack the child’s mother…knocking her out…Hubbard took the child and fled to Claiborne County. Again, this is not information from the police…this all came from different sources…Chris Hubbard stopped at a house in Claiborn County and asked to use the phone. At this time, the lady in the house recognized the kidnapped child and contacted the police. Chris Hubbard fled the scene and has not been found to my knowledge….Please understand these are not facts…just things I have been told.
