By James Davis
The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in 1 Chronicles 28:9: “Acknowledge the God of your father, and serve Him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.” We, who claim to be Christians, are admonished to proclaim God openly as our heavenly Father and to serve Him with our whole heart, body, and mind by telling others of His marvelous works. We’re told in other Scripture to seek the Lord while He may be found and that His spirit will not always strive with man. It’s so vitally important that we claim God as our Lord and Savior at any age and walk with Him in the light of His Word. He knows our thoughts and actions. He reads our hearts. We cannot fool God with lip service. Today, repent of your sins, step forward, and let Him change your life forever. Amen!
Happy Wednesday!
