The Scriptural passage selected for this morning is found in Proverbs 14:15-16: “A prudent man gives thought to his steps. A wise man fears the Lord and shuns evil, but a fool is hot-headed and reckless.” Read it again. Proper conduct and improper conduct are covered within these two verses. The wise man fears the Lord, relying on His guidance, and thereby resists evil. The foolish man, on the other hand, has no moral compass, no anchor, no boundaries, and, consequently, relies on his own carnal nature to guide him. Let us not be counted among the latter. Let’s put our trust in Jesus and seek His counsel in all things.
Today, let’s purpose in our hearts to share the love, joy, and kindness with all those with whom we come in contact. Smile often while counting our blessings and be gentle in our approach when dealing with others.
