A FIRM FOUNDATION
In building a building the most important part is the foundation. If the foundation is not firm then the building will fall down. This works the same way in our walk with Jesus. If we are not on the firm foundation of Jesus we will fall and become nothing.
Our devotion today comes from 1Peter 5:10. But the God of all grace who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus after that ye have suffered a while make you perfect, stablish, strengthen settle you.
At the cross Jesus calls us to His eternal glory. Our valleys come for us to grow in the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. God talks to us through the Holy Spirit. In our valley we get restored, support, and strengthen to reach the next mountain top.
