Lee Hosey, 82, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born Monday, December 19, 1938.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM until service time at Dry Creek Baptist Church, and funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the church. The Burial will follow in Dry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Joe Metts will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

He was preceded in death by daughter, Renee Stringer; parents, James and Lou Nell Hosey; great-grandchild; Charlee Jo Creel; brothers, John Henry Hosey,  J. W. Hosey, Charles Thomas Hosey, and Gayle Hosey; sisters,  Annie Mae Hester, Fannie Mae Vanderford, and Betty Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Bulah Hosey; sons, Byron Hosey (Pam) and Dane Hosey (Rhonda); daughters, Lane Yearby and Donna Hosey; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Dale Hosey; sister, Lena Mae Barrett.
