A school in McKinney, Texas is building a $62.8 million stadium that seats 12,000 people! I’m just saying….we have had quite a difficult time finding $11 million for an elementary school building.
Some of the tax payers are not happy…but more were happy to have the stadium and pay more taxes …The stadium will provide 3 area schools with a football field. (I’m not so sure that I would call
that a football field!) The “for the stadium” group felt the stadium was an investment for the community and would bring additional commerce to the area…..well, I hope so…
The first kick off should be in 2017….we hope to be in our elementary school by 2017!!!
