Gulfport, Miss – Jerrell Markiem Cleveland., was sentenced to 5 years in prison by District Judge Sul Ozerden, in a case involving possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, U. S. Attorney Gregory K. Davis announced today.

Cleveland, 25, of Gulfport, Mississippi, received 5 years in prison on one count of possession of a firearm in further of drug trafficking. He was also ordered to serve 3 years of supervised release when released from prison.

The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives, and the Gulfport Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Annette Williams.
