UPDATE:  Four additional U.S. Department of Justice Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Fund (CESF) grants have been approved for the City of Jackson ($748,906), the City of Tupelo ($58,008), DeSoto County ($50,263), and Lamar County ($37,826).  With these grants, 14 law enforcement organizations in Mississippi have been approved to receive $7,011,046 from these CARES Act appropriated funds.  Today is the deadline for eligible law enforcement entities in Mississippi to apply for CESF grants.  See below for Senator Hyde-Smith’s updated news release and additional information.

The highlighted jurisdictions are those in Mississippi that have applied for and received available CESF funding as of May 28, 2020.
