Incumbent Tommy Joe Harvey was re-elected Chancery Clerk of Simpson County.
Harvey defeated Willie Ree McDonald and W. J. “Bill” Jerrolds.
Harvey received 5,870 (67.15%). McDonald received 2,605 (29.80%). Jerrolds received 258 (2.95%).
Absentee and affidavit ballots have not been counted.
