Thomas (Tom) C. Taylor, 85, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg.  He was born Wednesday, April 4, 1934.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 1:00pm until service time with Funeral services at 2:00 PM at Goodwater Baptist Church. The Burial will follow in Goodwater Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Mr. Taylor was a member of Goodwater Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Bertha Taylor; brothers, Clinton Taylor, Alton Taylor; sisters, Ann Taylor and Idell Pierrier.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Hazel Taylor; sons, Charles Taylor (Claire), Joseph Taylor (Kim), Larry Taylor (Tammy), David Taylor and David Stewart (Sandra); seven granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; two great-grandsons.
