2024 GENERAL ELECTION DAY REMINDERS

The 2024 November General Election is just under a month away! The November 5 ballot includes offices of President, U.S. Senate, U.S. Representative, Supreme Court Justice, and Court of Appeals Judge, as well as some special elections.

Polls for the General Election will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. Any voter in line at 7:00 p.m. is legally entitled to cast a ballot.

For those unable to visit the polls on Election Day, in-person and mail-in absentee ballots are available in Circuit Clerk’s Offices. To verify eligibility, Mississippians may utilize our Y’all Vote website, which includes an Absentee Voting FAQ and Step-by-Step Guide to Absentee Voting, or contact their Circuit Clerk. The last day to vote in-person absentee is November 2 while mail-in absentee ballots must be postmarked on or before November 5 (Election Day).
