William A. Malley, 75 of Magee, Mississippi passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Wesley Merit Health Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Friday, October 18, 1946, in Magee, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will be Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. in Evergreen Gardens Cemetery in Gulfport, Mississippi. Bro. Gary Roberts will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Mr. Malley served in the U.S. Army for nine years and was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and the American Legion.  He worked for fifty years as a Construction Superintendent with his latest company being with Peoples Construction. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice (Buck) and Willie Mae Malley; brothers, Bernice Malley, James Malley, and Daniel Malley; and sister, Judy Stanford.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Malley; sons, Gary Davy Bullington, Richard Bachtel (Sheila) and Ben Malley (Miranda); Pawpaw’s boy, Jacob Bachtel; very special nephew, David Malley; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Malley; sister-in-law’s, Alice Merle Malley, Betty Malley, and Peggy Erkhart; and a host of numerous nieces and nephews.
