The City of Magee has a 10 inch Water Main break between Waffle House and Mcalisters on Hwy. 49 Southbound. The City Superintendent, Fire Dept., Building Dept., and Water Dept worked together to locate and shut off the Main line leak.
Businesses found to be WITHOUT water are from O’Reillys to Popeyes. Water main has been shutdown and isolated at this time. Please be patient as crews gather a plan to restore water as soon as possible.
Magee Fire Department
According to Mayor Dale Berry, “the area will be out of water until we can fix it.”

You should let people know this does not effect homes and water is safe to drink. No boil water notice for residents
