Virginia Ann Robinson, 68, died January 30, 2021, at her home in Pinola, MS, surrounded by her family. Virginia was born January 12, 1953, in Jackson, MS and graduated from Provine High School in 1972. Virginia accepted Christ in her early teen years and became a member of Wells Memorial Methodist Church in Jackson, MS. She is now a member of Pinola Baptist Church in Pinola, MS. Virginia owned H & R Electric with her dear husband, Mitchell Robinson. She was also an EMT and a bailiff for the Simpson County Courthouse. Virginia enjoyed serving the public and her heart always went out to those in need.
Visitation will be held at Pinola Baptist Church from 5:00 pm-8:00pm, on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. The service will be held Wednesday, February 3, at 2:00 pm, at Pinola Baptist Church with inside services lead by Chris Rankin and Charles Savell. Graveside services directly after will be lead by Otho Schilling and Johnnie T. May.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Mitchell Robinson; mother, Gertrude Price Wallace; sons, Derrick Hemphill (Misty Kay), Cash Robinson (Allison); daughter, Ashley Cantrell; grandchildren, Triston, Peyton, Aidan Hemphill, Bryton, Brinley, Ryleigh Robinson, and Pyper Cantrell; brother, Price Wallace; sister, Jane Terreri; sisters-in-law, Cindy Wallace, Cynthia Wallace; brothers-in-law, Anthony Terreri, Ken Robinson (Joyce), Buddy Robinson; father-in-law, Charlie Robinson and mother-in-law, Vera Robinson. There are also a bushel of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, James L. Wallace, and brother, Bruce Wallace.
Virginia will be remembered by her larger-than-life personality and an unquenchable desire to help everyone she met. She had a heart for anyone she saw as burdened or maltreated, mainly because she had a heart for the Lord.
She also had a love for so many activities and mastered them all. Ceramics, gardening, canning, raising hens, glass blowing, painting, but most of all she loved just being MeMe to her family.
