Magee Fire Department responded to a two vehicle accident on MS HWY 28 W.
Once on scene firefighters found one occupant trapped in their vehicle. Firefighters used Hurst cutters and spreaders to force open drivers door to free driver. Driver was alert and speaking to emergency personnel. They were then placed on a backboard and placed in the ambulance and ASAP staff began providing care.
Driver of second vehicle was also alert and out of vehicle speaking to Law Enforcement.
Magee Police Department, Simpson County Sheriff’s Department and Mississippi Highway Patrol were all on scene. Cause of accident is under investigation by MHP.
