The Mississippi Nurses’ Association is the professional association for all registered nurses and advanced practice registered nurses in Mississippi.  MNA successfully represents, advocates, and lobbies for nurses across all specialties and roles through several activities, events, programs, forums, workshops, and collaborations.  MNA has stood side-by-side with Mississippi’s nurses for over 110 years!

The vision of MNA is to be a single strong voice for Mississippi’s Registered Nurses and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses. Our mission is to promote registered professional nursing practice through advocacy, education, research and partnership.

MNA is well known for  meeting the continuing education needs of registered nurses and advanced practice registered nurses by successfully hosting premiere events in easily accessible locations.

District 11 is comprised of Smith and Simpson Counties.  We have been involved in multiple community service projects such as adopting families and entities at Thanksgiving and Christmas, providing food, gifts and donations, as well as supplying food pantries and addressing other identified needs through the. years
