LAUREL, Miss. – September 2, 2026 – South Central Regional Medical Center proudly announces the addition of Keely Charles, MD, to the medical staff at South Central Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr. Charles is a Brandon native who earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 2022. She then completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 2026.

“I am passionate about caring for women and their families, and I am excited to join this team of skilled medical professionals at SCRMC,” said Dr. Charles. “My goal is to ensure that each of my patients feels informed and supported as we work together to reach their health goals.”

  • Pregnancy and Childbirth Care
  • Ultrasonography
  • Premenstrual Syndrome
  • Urinary Incontinence
  • Menopause
  • Osteoporosis

She joins the medical staff at South Central Obstetrics & Gynecology, where she will work alongside Rachel Cudworth, DO; Robert A. DeSantis, MD; B. Michael Weber, MD; Keith Winstead, DO; Ashley Foyd, WHNP; and Stacey Nix, FNP; and Stephanie Crosby, WHNP, FNP.
