All across America children have been reading and learning more about books in celebration of “Read Across America.”

Our Magee Elementary School is no exception to this special time.

Some of the readers, students, and Magee Elementary Liberian Tan Meddleton

For several years, I have been asked to read at Magee Elementary!  I love it!!! The children are darling and eager to listen and learn.  As with most children, they like to talk and tell you about their new shoes!  Today, I read to kindergarten children in Mrs. Warren’s room.  Mrs. Warren was absent, but Mrs. Milton, who filled in,  did a great job.

In 1998, The National Education Association  launched the Read Across America program.  Actually, the month of March is known as the National Reading Month; therefore, we should read to our children (no matter the age) all month!

Thank you to Magee Elementary School and the Librarian Tan Middleton for inviting me to read!

The Co-Lin Wolf participated in today’s reading activities. Pictured with the wolf are 2 elementary students.
