Merrit Elizabeth McLemore, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Steven Dale McLemore of Hattiesburg & the granddaughter of Mr. & Mrs. Clifton Reed of Magee was inducted in Hattiesburg Debutante Association Saturday, December 16, 2023 during the 70th annual presentation at the historic Saenger Theatre.
Merrit completed her freshman year at Mississippi State University where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority, the Mississippi State Rodeo Team, President’s List, & Kappa Sigma Charity Bowl Cheerleader. She is currently a student at The University of Southern Mississippi where she is a communications major & serves as Kappa Delta Sisterhood Enrichment Team Leader.
She was presented by her father and escorted by Mr. Caden Sellers Reynolds, son of Mr. & Mrs. Eric Reynolds of Hattiesburg.
Merrit will serve on the 2024 Hattiesburg Debutante Association board as historian.
