The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Proverbs 14:23: “All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.” Amen! Talking about doing a job is pointless. It brings about nothing but the dispelling of hot air. Tackling a job, however, will produce results and will show the fruits of labor. King Solomon was the wisest man who ever lived, according to the BIBLE. He believed in hard work and promoted it among his people. Let us be known for our hard work, the fruits of our labor. God will bless our efforts if done in honesty. Let us leave the talking to the bell-clappers, the schemers, the braggarts.
