The Magee Lions Club hosted its annual fundraising golf tournament at the Simpson County Country Club. The tournament proceeds help the Club fund eyeglasses and exams for those in need in our community. The Club also supports hearing evaluations through the State Club and the White Cane project. Community businesses and individuals support the tournament by sponsoring holes at each tee box on the course.
Winners, Amie Green, Charlie Hudson, and Charles Balwin in Flight #1 were sponsored by Simpson Academy. Second place was captured by the Magee Rentals team of Wayne Hilton, Les Dickerson, and Pete May. The Flight #2 winners were teams that all tied for the top spot, headed by Chris Jones, Scott Booth, and Bailey Booth.
