The City of Magee has begun installing its Magee Hometown Hero Banners, a project designed to recognize and honor the brave men and women who have served the United States and continue to represent the strength and spirit of the community.

The banners serve as a visible tribute to veterans, active-duty military personnel, and the families whose sacrifices have helped shape both Magee and the nation.

City officials noted that banner installation is currently underway throughout the city, with additional banners expected to be placed over the coming days.

Residents who do not yet see their Hometown Hero represented are encouraged to be patient, as installation will continue throughout the week as the project progresses.

In the coming days, American flags and Hometown Hero banners will line Main Street, creating a patriotic display that celebrates hometown pride and honors those who have answered the call to serve.

Community leaders say the initiative reflects the heart of Magee and its longstanding commitment to recognizing the people who make the city special.
